Web Background

Background – Targets

For this exercise I created a target shape, colored it red: hexidemical #f7340c, changed the opacity to 80%, duplicated the layer, and set an offset filter. In WordPress customize, I placed a green color over the red to give it a christmas feel. I couldn’t find a hexidecimal value for the green used in wordpress, it was in rgb brackets.

Welcome

I’m Justin Kemper

I’m taking this course and others towards a Web Designer Certificate to update my skills. I have a Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology Bachelors degree from Appalachian State. I’m hoping to pair these skills towards a Graphic Designer or Web Designer career. After that I may take a class or two about JavaScript & PHP, so I have a little knowledge of back-end web design.

I love music and attending concerts with my girlfriend when I can afford to. I’m also a bit of a gamer and that takes up some of my evenings, I also love documentaries. I’m originally from Canada, but I have lived in the Triangle area for 18 ¬†years.

I already have experience with Photoshop and other Adobe programs, and I hope to learn how to use WordPress efficiently to boost my portfolio.
